We seek qualified candidates who share our vision, values and commitment to help others.Pacific Homecare seeks a full-time Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm Office Assistant responsible for providing administrative support in our Stockton office. This position requires a bilingual speaker and multi-tasking ability to support various teams. Responsibilities and Duties Answer phone calls for the main accounting line and direct callers to the appropriate party. Professionally respond to emails from parents, providers, and service coordinators as soon as possible. Check Accounting Dept. voicemail daily and return calls as soon as possible. Check Accounting Dept staff's voicemail during billing processing period (Do Not Disturb days). Drafting and proofreading letters. Taking notes during meetings when required. Assisting providers and families to get familiar with our timesheet processes. Assisting with the billing process. Assisting with the processing of Purchase of Service Authorizations. Assisting with completion of different verification of employment forms. Reviewing and entering different accounting forms into database. Following up on unsigned timesheets Backing up other department members when needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills i.e., navigating between different programs and network.
