available for a skilled Physical Therapist to support students
within a K-12 school setting in Byron, GA. This role offers an
opportunity to deliver essential therapeutic services during the
current school year, contributing to the health and well-being of
students in an educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
tailored to students needs. Provide direct physical therapy
services to support student mobility, participation, and functional
independence. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
to integrate therapy goals within the educational curriculum.
Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state
regulations. Participate in student eligibility meetings and assist
with accommodations planning. Preferred Qualifications: Valid
Physical Therapy license appropriate for Georgia. Experience
working with pediatric populations in a school setting. Strong
communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary
teams. Knowledge of IDEA and other relevant educational laws.
