This capability combines non-tariffed resources and expertise with Utility assets to maximize value for the communities we serve. Through the non-tariffed products & services NRD develops and manages, the team has the unique opportunity to support customer satisfaction, lower operating expenses and generate positive return on investment for PG&E’s customers and shareholders. Position Summary The Senior, Program Manager will work within a team responsible for planning, execution and management of non-tariffed third-party programs on or near PG&E assets or properties. Incumbents may be involved in developing contracts, program design, governance, standards and regulatory compliance such as data request or audits. Incumbents monitor internal utility and external telecom industry factors that affect the planning, forecasting and successful execution of the program work and determine, recommend and implement adjustments as needed. This role ensures NRD’s programs are implemented safely and without interference with PG&E’s ability to deliver reliable electric or gas service while maintaining compliance with the California Public Utility Commission's General Orders, all safety regulations, and other regulatory requirements. The successful candidate ensures work is completed and verifies that activities are compliant with PG&E’s enterprise standards and work procedures. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office, field locations and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader. The preferred work location is Oakland, CA. Travel to/from Oakland General Office and San Ramon Valley Conference Center is required. Occasional travel to/from team meetings in Sacramento area are also be expected. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum to the midpoint of the range. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Bay Area Minimum: $105,000.00 Bay Area Midpoint: $137,000.00 Bay Area Maximum: $169,000.00 Job Responsibilities • Manage and evaluate existing products/programs. • Developing, measuring, and reporting on the success of programs. • Completes moderate to complex problems and anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions. • Works with leaders to support strategic planning and decision making, i.e., market transformation strategies for product portfolio; portfolio management; process documenting (e.g. process mapping), roadmap methodology, etc. • Comprehensive expertise in analytics, strategic vision, and the ability to utilize data for informed decision-making. • Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners. • Contract negotiating, drafting, and execution. Qualifications Minimum: • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience • 6 years of related experience or equivalent Desired: • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, or related. • MBA or equivalent graduate degree (desired). • Possesses unique product or program management and subject matter expertise as a thought leader. • Advanced risk identification, management, and mitigation. • Ability to effectively and independently manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints. • Knowledge and ability to work within PG&E’s enterprise regulatory environment and specifically CPUC and FERC regulations related to compliant offering of Non-Tariffed Product and Services. • Knowledge and understanding of business drivers. Ability to lead and influence strategic planning and decision-making working with leadership at PG&E. • Demonstrated experience creating leadership- level presentations and experience presenting to leadership. • Strong basic knowledge on Lean principles and experience using tools (i.e. 4 Lean Plays, use of Tactical Implementation Plan, and Simple Problem Solving). • Skilled at simplifying complex or technical for internal and external communications. • Experience in contract drafting and sourcing contracting through Ariba. Excellent negotiation skills.
