Responsibilities Under direction of the Materials Management Manager/Supervisor this position is responsible for cost containment in the entire procedural care area. Inclusive of all supply storage areas, the Lawson Webtool request and inventory control. Actively confirms all incoming deliveries of stock and nonstock supplies, equipment and services. Qualifications Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years or more experience working within a procedural department such as Surgical, Cardiac Lab, or Interventional Radiology Department at a large healthcare system.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of medical inventory/equipment management.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English.
  • Good numerical skills a must.
  • Sound customer service techniques and practices, ability to communicate in a professional and articulate manner with internal and external partners at all level both verbal and written, remain calm and courteous while handling problems, comfortable as a team member and informational leader, knowledge of Materials Management. Preferred:
    • AA Degree/Bachelors in business management, Supply Chain highly desired Lawson Materials Management Information System
    • 3-5 years previous Materials Management related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse.
