Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far
Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa
Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
Our team is expanding to support our growing portfolio. The
Creative Director leads concept development through execution of
innovative strategies and the creative guidelines that align to
brand equities for our portfolio of wineries.
Contributes to the overall growth, strategic vision, and image of
our company, through leadership of a group of internal and external
design professionals. As a collaborative thought leader, works
closely with key stakeholders and presents creative design
You will be successful in this role while performing these
Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in
various creative projects from inception to completion working with
both internal and external professionals.
Work collaboratively with key departments to obtain knowledge of
their needs and requirements. Lead brainstorming/creative sessions
to generate ideas with cross-functional teams.
Works to differentiate our portfolio in the marketplace by staying
ahead of the competition and new forms of innovation.
Maintains, translates, and extends the product brand equities' look
and feel. Archives, protects, and shares creative brand identity
and style guidelines as appropriate.
Leads and motivates internal & external art directors,
illustrators, copywriters etc. to maximize outcomes.
Produces best-in-class luxury deliverables including print ads,
consumer digital campaigns, printed/digital point-of-sale
collateral for DTC & wholesale, educational materials, branded
merchandise, and other brand-driven communications materials.
Supports hospitality team across each winery to ensure guest
experience is on strategy with all aspects of visual identity &
messaging from tasting room music & consumer materials to host
scripts and uniforms.
Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet our image
and storytelling standards. Revise content and presentations,
approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
Leads photo and video shoots in partnership with external
production partners, and ensures successful execution and delivery,
on-time and on budget.
Takes an active role in brand briefings; effectively accepts and
challenges alternate recommendations based on brand creative
Develops partnerships and collaborations for curated products that
can be sold onsite, online or provided as value-add to customers
Provided expertise to the visual identity of our packaging, and
gift box/bag designs. Manage packaging artwork from final approval
of design through the printing process, oversee team to maintain
asset library and updates to outward facing collateral.
Ensures timely and informative communication takes place between
the creative function and business partners.
Delivers professional presentations in a clear, concise, and direct
manner that are engaging, visually compelling, persuasive, and
supported by a sound rationale and strategy.
Partners with marketing department leadership to establish budgets,
timelines and deliverables and ensure adherence to budget

You will be qualified for this role if you met these
BS/BA in Advertising, Fine Art, Design, Marketing, or relevant
5+ years in a similar capacity
Exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills.

This is a hybrid office position, but there are some physical
requirements, but our large estate requires:
