Multi-Family, you will be responsible for all non-field related
tasks associated with Multi-Family projects.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(%
of Time)Track all multi-family projects from start to finish:
complete preliminary plan reviews, monitor status of projects,
support field sales, develop scope of work and A.S.&E.
documents, provide submittal packages, research project issues,
communicate with engineering, complete takeoffs, work with quoting,
respond to and track all RFI's, and track all submittals. Support
sales and provide field sales with needed information for
preconstruction meetings. Issue and respond to questions from the
jobsite/contractor. (45%)Work directly with sales to manage
specific projects. Understand and apply the concepts and principles
regarding project management: determining the stakeholders,
timelines, budgets, communication channels and subprojects needed
to complete the over-all project on time. Apply ability to read
construction documents and consider cost implications, conflict
resolution and attention to detail. (25%)Package and price material
lists based on competitive situations. Properly maintain project
information in Salesforce, work management software and project
management system and capture history to better develop budgeting
and forecasting tools. (15%)Process and track purchase orders,
project schedules, back orders and produce work orders. (10%)Travel
to various meetings and customer jobsites for sales presentations
and preconstruction issues. (5%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you
can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps
some of the following would be helpful too:
- 3 years experience - various aspects of Multi-Family business,
including, but not limited to, budgeting, reading plans and
negotiating pricing
- 3 years experience - Project Management
- Project Management Certification preferred.
- Project Management: Ability to keep schedules, delegating
duties and working within limited time frames to achieve a
particular objective. A time-conscious person who is
results-oriented and meets strict deadlines. Experience with the
PMI methodology of project management is a plus.
- Decision Making & Judgment: Ability to find solutions
acceptable to diverse groups with conflicting interests and needs.
Ability to balance analysis, wisdom, experience, and perspective
when making decisions.
- Self-Management: Ability to display a high level of initiative,
effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely
manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deadlines.

- Management Skills: Ability to create an environment that allows
team to feel motivated to work and interact. Ability to set clear,
meaningful, challenging, and attainable goals.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve thoroughness and
accuracy when accomplishing a task. Ability to diligently attend to
details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication
skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
and group situations.
- Computer Skills: Experience or understanding of Smartsheet or
other project management systems is required. Must possess
intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint).TRAVEL REQUIREDThis job requires 5% domestic
travel.WORK STATUS & LOCATIONThis full-time, exempt position is
located in Stockton, CA.RELOCATIONRelocation is not available for
