ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Insusion Therapy/Cancer Center
Staff Nurse provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals
and families using a holistic approach. Assesses patient/family
health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the
development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for
nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical
nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing service to an adult population in
a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the
functional/developmental age of the individual served. This
position requires the full understanding and active participation
in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that
the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core
Values.#QualificationsMinimum:* One (1) year acute care experience
required* Current California RN License* Graduate of an RN School
of Nursing.* AHA BLS certification* ACLS certification*
Chemotherapy certified through ONS required OR obtained within 90
days of employment into the position.* The cost shall be paid for
by Mark Twain Hospital.ONCRN Certified preferred.* Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Computer
literacyPreferred:* One (1) year oncology/chemotherapy experience
preferred.* Bachelor degree in health related field preferred.*
