Job Description:

MDA Premier Staffing is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a hospital in Lone Pine, California who demonstrates the ability to make proficient patient care decisions in an effective manner. The nurse shows the ability to provide care to a patient and the capacity to identify a patient's needs, follow directions and duties assigned by RNs. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the management of patient care.Details:

• Start Date 7/11/22
• Day shift, Night shift
• 8, 10, 12 hour shifts
• 36 hrs. per week guaranteed (6:45am-6:45pm, 6:45pm-6:45am)
• 14 week contract (with possible extension)

  • Nursing (2 year Required)
    Compensation:
    • From $1,890 weekly (36 hours)
    • 1.5x after 8 hours

          Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:
          • Collects data and reports findings to RNs upon new admission
          • Communicates data on patient assessment to RNs who are assigned
          • Contributes in collaboration with RNs to the patient care plan
          • Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and patients progress toward expected outcomes every shift
          • Maintains lab and other diagnostic test results and reports in a timely manner to RNs
          • Aides individual teaching plans for each patient, based upon a plan of care by RNs
          • Works under direction of RNs and completes assignments as directed
          • Manages patient assignment within assigned shift
          • Utilizes non-patient care time to help other nurses with care
          • Ensures that care reflects goals of patient outcome activities
          • Documents legibility, completes patient care records, uses approved abbreviations
          • Performs other duties as assignedRequirements:
            • Fluent in English language, both verbal and written.
            • Current California LVN License
            • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
            • Current BLS card.
            • Successful completion of testing process.
