Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) Hours: Full Time Location Information: PT Solutions Physical Therapy partners with Dameron Hospital (managed by Adventist Health) to provide quality occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology for patients with a wide variety of medical diagnoses. Dameron Hospital is a 200 bed inpatient, acute care, Level I Trauma center that holds Joint Commission accreditation as a Primary Stroke Center and Blue Shield designation as a Knee and Hip Replacement Center of Excellence. As a clinician here, you will work with an interdisciplinary team and evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in all areas of the hospital. OVERVIEW As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration working closely with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, case management team, social workers, nursing staff, and physicians to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.
