Job Description:
VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is an
integrated health care delivery system, offering a comprehensive
array of medical, surgical, rehabilitative, mental health and
extended care to Veterans in Northern California. The historic Bob
Hope Theatre provides entertainment in the heart of downtown
Stockton. Art lovers enjoy frequenting the Haggin Museum, which
houses works by 19th and 20th-century artists, and the Stock
market, where local artists sell their work amid live music and
street food carts.There are also opportunities for locals to enjoy
Stockton's warm, sunny weather. The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta
runs right through Stockton, making it a premier location for
boating and water sports. Stockton also boasts several golf courses
and more than 60 parks, and it's about two hours from major beaches
(Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay) and ski resorts (Kirkwood and Bear
Valley).Located near San Francisco, one of America's favorite
cities, Sacramento, is not far from the world class ski attractions
at Lake Tahoe and the beautiful Napa Valley.More History can be
found here: The Physician or NP or PA, will be responsible for
assessment and care of new and returning patients with any number
of medical problems (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heart
disease, COPD, depression, chronic pain). The care may be delivered
via face-to-face, telehealth or video visits though this position
may require occasional travel to VISN medical centers or Community
Based Outreach Clinics (CBOC. He/she is responsible for ordering
diagnostics, consultations, medications, and other therapies as
medically indicated, meeting preventative health maintenance needs,
completing all required VA computer documentation including
clinical reminders and screenings in a timely manner. Salary
$230,000.00 to $280,000.00 Per Year Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm$40k+ recruitment/relocation with 4yr obligationPay
for Performance up to 15K each yearCompressed work schedules with
flexibility!!Up to $200K for EDRP, Education Debt Repayment
