Job Description:

Large Healthcare company is in need of a Medical Collector/Medical Biller. Looking for an individual with billing AND collection experience and solid knowledge of medical reimbursement fundamentals.

As a Medical Biller/Collector you will be responsible for:

?Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the medical billing process for a defined set of locations and payers

?Submit electronic and manual claims adhering to strict deadlines

?Effectively follow up on unpaid accounts, including patient portion

?Maintain optimal communication and rapport with payers and branches

?Offer input and maintain reporting requirements relative to assigned accounts

Requirements

?Two years of medical collection experience required

?Medical claims experience preferred

?Knowledge of governmental payer requirements (i.e., Medicare and Medicaid) a plus

?Solid history of proven success with Accounts Receivable

?Advanced computer proficiency - Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook

?Customer Service Orientation

?Excellent verbal and written communication skills

?High level interest in being part of a dynamic and growing team
