Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT (M) certification to perform advanced mammography procedures in an acute care setting. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care setting within the mammography department - Perform tomo mammography studies and assist radiologists with stereotactic biopsies - Handle an average caseload of 15 mammograms per day - Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts - Experience with Merge PACS and Cerner EMR systems required - Duties include performing tomosynthesis mammograms and assisting with stereotactic breast biopsies - Teal scrubs are required - No floating required for this position - Previous employees of CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year are not eligible unless employed PRN through outside agencies - Assignment includes 12 hours of orientation Requirements - At least 2 years of recent mammography technologist experience - Must have performed at least 200 mammograms in the past 2 years - Active BLS and ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required - CRT in Mammography (California) required - Experience with Cerner EMR required - Travel experience required - Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted - Copy of driver’s license required for consideration - Two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627171.
