working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Santa
Cruz, California, 95065! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2
years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID
Vaccine Required Must-Have: Recent proficiency in immediate post-op
cardiac surgery recovery Description: Candidate will take a
proctored CVICU exam and interview with the manager via Zoom prior
to the offer. Type of specialty is CVICU within a mixed
medical-surgical unit. The unit has 16 beds/rooms. Average number
of providers in the clinic per day includes 1 cardiothoracic
surgeon and 1 CTS PA. Average number of patients per day is 1
cardiac surgery patient and 12 additional general med-surg ICU
patients. Common diagnoses/types of patients include
mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacements, CABG, and AAA repair.
IABP, CRRT, and ECMO experience preferred but not required.
Floating is required, with the candidate being first to float.
Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Holiday work is
mandatory. There is a call or standby requirement. Scrub
color/dress code is navy blue scrubs. Charting system used is
Cerner. No Medical Assistants or CNAs are utilized. The hospital
can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. 5 Benefits of
