Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time
Occupational Therapist position offers an exciting opportunity to
work within a K-12 school setting in Lakeport, CA. The role focuses
on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to
students with mild to severe needs, supporting their educational
and developmental goals throughout the school year. This contract
position serves as a backfill, ensuring continuity of care for a
caseload of fewer than 50 students. Responsibilities include:
Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students
occupational therapy needs. Developing and implementing
individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress. Monitoring and
documenting student progress and outcomes throughout the school
year. Providing direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in
small groups, for a diverse caseload. Participating in meetings,
conferences, and professional development opportunities as
required. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Occupational
Therapy license and certification appropriate for school-based
practice. Experience working with K-12 students in educational
settings. Ability to manage a caseload of mild to severe needs
efficiently. Strong communication, collaboration, and
organizational skills. Knowledge of school therapy services, legal
requirements, and best practices. Location: Lakeport, California
Duration: Contract for the current school year (ASAP through end of
