a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Fairfield, California, 94533! Job
Title: Clinical Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor &

Experience: Minimum three years of acute care experience required.
License: CA RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have:
Triage experience Description: The Clinical Nurse (RN) is
responsible and accountable for delivering safe, effective, quality
nursing care. Care is provided according to the philosophy and
goals of the Department of Nursing. The RN utilizes a professional
nursing practice model to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
care for all patients. The RN determines the progress of the
patient toward goals. A therapeutic professional relationship with
the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team is essential. Care
supports the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. The
RN shall demonstrate consistent competence by applying scientific
knowledge across social, biological, and physical sciences. The
nursing process includes assessment, diagnosis, care planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Ongoing assessment of the patient's
physical and psychosocial condition is essential. Collaboration
with the client ensures direct and indirect nursing care services
meet safety, comfort, hygiene, and disease prevention needs.
Essential nursing skills are performed while explaining health
treatment to clients and families. Evaluation of the care plan
includes observation and communication with team members,
necessitating modifications as needed. Demonstrates current working
knowledge and safe use of equipment, instrumentation, and
medications. Delegates tasks based on legal scopes of practice and
supervision of care provided by team members. Acts as the client's
advocate, initiating actions to improve healthcare. Culturally
competent, age-appropriate, ethical care is provided within legal
standards. Coordinates patient care activities with healthcare
professionals and ancillary team members. Effective communication
skills are utilized for safe patient handoffs. Documentation of
nursing care is performed per hospital policies. Manual and
automated information systems are utilized to improve efficiency
and productivity. Accountable for meeting unit and organizational
goals related to patient satisfaction. Contributes to positive
patient care experiences through individual interactions. Assists
in resolving complaints with the goal of immediate resolution if
possible. Investigates complaints and provides information to
management as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. 5
