Long term contract , Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in MRI, hospital experience a plus PER DIEM MRI Technologist Schedule - 6-2:30 Mon to Sunday ; 2-10:30 Mon to Friday Per Diem 2x days/wk - Pays $71/hr/$1136 weekly/$59’072/yr Join our team as an MRI Technologist where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical imaging services. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images for medical interpretation. This position requires a keen understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques. Why Work Here? Best Pay - Paid Weekly Fast, easy onboarding Position details/Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans on patients following proper protocols and procedures - Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures - Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures - Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infections and maintain a sterile environment Requirements: MRI Technologist – Operate a super conductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI), a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images of the entire body, including the brain, neck, spine, chest, body, and extremities. - Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in MRI, hospital experience a plus - Hold a current and valid Advanced ARRT certification in MRI. - Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV) and performing contrast injections. IV certification is required. - experience in Siemen 3T and GE1.5 T - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of diagnostic evaluation - Experience in MRI scanning and documented PACs experience - Strong grasp of anatomy and physiology - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients Equal Opportunity Employer: AHP is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
