Mammography Tech Location: Clearlake, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,742 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mamo Tech Specialty: Mamo Tech Duration: 13 months Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: M - TH 0700 to 1730 Experience: Preferred experience as a Mammography Technologist License: Required Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist in CA Certifications: Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) Must-Have: Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) in OR, preferred in CA and HI Description: Performs specialized examinations of the breast to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Operates specialized equipment while conducting all required procedures in the department. Acts as a competent clinician providing clinical care in a skilled and effective manner. Utilizes appropriate technical and decision-making skills. Completes patient education regarding the exam while promoting privacy and comfort. Follows infection control and safety guidelines. Performs diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered. Prepares for and assists in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies. Produces high-quality films for evaluation and completes appropriate documentation. Obtains pertinent patient information and disseminates subsequent patient preparation instructions. Elevates questions, problems, and significant challenges to more senior staff for direction. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients. Requires that all associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
