Description Licensed Therapists or Associate Therapist opportunity. (please note: Licensed Therapists, LMFT, LCSW or LPCC, will also be considered. Our stunning inpatient facility houses 22 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our historic, remodeled mansion is located in stunning Monterey, with ocean views. Positions Available: Full-time For Full-Time ACSW, AMFT or APCC we offer: 2 units of supervision toward licensure, Associates are able to claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward their licensure Earn individual, group and family experience/ hours Competitive pay New pay scale once Associates is completed and new license issued (LCSW/ LMFT/LPCC) 10 days paid vacation 5 holidays/ 5 sick days per year Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with NO monthly premium for employee 401K with a company match of up to 3% Accident & life Insurance Essential Functions as an Associate Therapist: Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency. Works as a team member with other professionals Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences Conducts individual , family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues Operates a personal computer and other office equipment Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses Perform job duties under stressful conditions May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities Education and minimum qualification: Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences Must possess a valid Driver’s License Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required) Sierra Health and Wellness is a California network of leading behavioral health and rehab centers for adults and families who suffer from addiction to alcohol, opiates, amphetamines and other addictive substances. Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs. PM21 IDSHW26 Qualifications Required education and experience: Must obtain and maintain a registration number regulated by a state board (ASW, AMFT, APC) Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling. Have at minimum one-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling. Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights. Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification. Must possess a valid Driver’s License Preferred education and experience : Two to three years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling BA or MA degree in related field.
