Stockton Supermarket Security Officer - Swing ShiftParking Lot Security Officer

This is a permanent assignment at a grocery store.

You will work evenings and on weekends and overtime may be available. This is a standing/walking post. You will do foot patrols of the parking lot and post near the entrance to protect property and keep people safe. You are polite, professional and courteous. You have your own smartphone and use common mobile apps.

Objective:
Your focus is deterrence of theft and vandalism while you enforce rules. You always stay highly visible and watchful at all times is required and use your training and follow post orders.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain your BSIS required training.
• Follow company policies, post orders and client instructions.
• Stay visible at all times.
• Do foot patrols of property.
• Be professionally at all times.
• Observe people and property at all times.
• Make detailed reports of your activities via mobile app.
• Call police when a crime or emergency occurs.
• Work all hours assigned.You may be called upon to do other job-related activities from time to time.
  
  Skills Required:
  
  You must be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time. You'll work during the day and at night, sometimes during the hot, cold or rain. You must possess good verbal communication skills and speak confidently and professionally in English with people or groups. You must prepare and deliver good written reports and be on time to all assignments. You are a team player and accomplish company and client goals quickly. You have good leadership skills and set a good example for others to follow.
  
  Requirements:
  
  Possess a valid Guard Card.
  Be drug-free.
  Have reliable transportation.
  Have a working smart phone with mobile data.
  
  Schedule:
  
  You must work on weekdays & weekends in the early evening. Schedules are published weekly via mobile app.
