delivering innovative solutions to improve and enhance tooling
operations. You will lead the Tool and Die Department Team by
capturing, prioritizing data, and translating that into actionable
processes to increase quality, capabilities, and efficiencies. If

with that, it's what we love to do:.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of
Time)Planning and prioritizing department work (50%):
- Supports all plant operations.
- Promotes a safety-first environment by following and enforcing
all safety rules throughout the facility.
- Ensures completion of daily tasks and Work Orders regarding
repairs and modifications to all tool room equipment and
facilities.
- Supports projects and Work Orders; oversees all work and
services performed by outside contractors and vendor
technicians.
- Maintains the technical and the development of work processes
and work instructions.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Set-up and run reports, enter/delete equipment, create PM's, set-up
and train new employees on Express Maintenance Connection/Service
Requesters and SAP.
- Work with Production Departments and leads to plan and schedule
projects.
- Manage and work with Leads to determine consumables
requirements, and order quantities based on inventory and future
needs as forecast.
- Develop and maintain front-line efficiency standards.
- Coordinates daily maintenance of equipment. Develops and
maintains Preventative Maintenance schedule, coordinating with
Maintenance scheduler
- Complete and maintain accurate performance reports and records
as well as other administrative duties as needed.
- Lead and conduct daily improvement and Tier meetings.Project
Management (25%):
- Assist with Project Management of new equipment or tool room
expansion/improvements, assist with new process instructions.
- Coordinates and maintains positive vendor/contractor relations
for equipment and services as required.Lead, direct, supervise, and
provide support to the Team on a regular basis in order to ensure
high efficiency of work (25%).
- Complete and maintain accurate time and attendance records.
Updating the team member records.
- Provide guidance, coaching and/or mentoring to employees to
help achieve department and individual goals.
- Identifies best practices to improve efficiency, reduce
equipment downtime, eliminate recurring equipment issues,
- Assists with interviewing and the selection of the Tool Room
Department Team members.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do
everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of
the following would be helpful too:
- Associate's Degree in a related field, or equivalent OJT.

- Minimum of 2 years managing others (Required)
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and
specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and CMMS Applications.
(Required)
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in an
industrial environment. (Required)
- SAP experience preferred
- CAD/CAM preferredTRAVEL REQUIREDThis job requires 10% to 20%
domestic travel.WORK STATUS & LOCATIONThis full-time, exempt
position is located in Stockton, CA.RELOCATIONRelocation is not
available for this position.PAY$64,600.00 - 103,400.00 USD
