Stockton Industrial Facility Security OfficerIndustrial Facility Security OfficerThis is a standing/walking post where you will conduct foot patrols. Your main responsibility is access control and theft prevention. You are always polite, professional and courteous and you only allow authorized people on the property. You own your own smartphone & are familiar with common mobile apps. You also prevent vandalism and other crimes.Objective:You're good at always remaining highly visible and you're good at deterring trespassing, theft and other crime. You always follow post orders & client instructions and you like keeping clients and the public safe.Responsibilities: --- Keep all BSIS required training & certificates up to date.--- Follow company policies, post orders and client instructions.--- Always be highly visible.--- Do walking patrols of property.--- Be professional when you speak and submit reports--- Watch people & property to prevent trespassers or theft.--- Make detailed reports of your activities via mobile device app(s). --- Alert law enforcement when a crime or emergency occurs.--- Work all assigned shifts.--- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.In addition to the above, you may also be called upon to fulfill other job-related activities as instructed.Skills Required: You must stand and walk while on duty. You must work day or at night and on weekends, sometimes during adverse weather conditions. You must be a good written and verbal communicator in English. You must be on time be able to work alone for long periods of time. You have good teamwork skills and can accomplish company and client goals quickly and efficiently. Your good leadership skills allow you to advance because you set a good example for others to follow.
