This opportunity may be just what you are looking for!Description: Manage residential therapeutic program of 6 to 10 youth. Conduct individual, family and group therapy. Bill for therapeutic and all billable services on Gateway in compliance with San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services. Write treatment plans and case reports; manage goal attainment system for residents; participate in psychiatric consultations/utilization review and peer review/medication reviews. Provide liaison with schools and attend IEP meetings as needed. Ensure programs meet State Licensing and Children's Home requirements and standards.Benefits: In addition to a competitive salary package, The Children's Home of Stockton contributes 80% towards the monthly premium for medical coverage, a generous PTO plan, retirement and profit sharing, and numerous other fringe benefits!RequirementsJob Qualifications:A Master's Degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school, as defined by the Department of Education, in social work or social welfare, marriage, family and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology or social psychology, which would enable the degree holder to sit for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) exam or the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) exam; completion of at least three semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency at the Master's Degree level; at least nine semester units of coursework related to children and families, or 18 months experience in working with children and families; At least three semester units in working with minority populations (six months of experience in working with minority population, or six months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment); at least three semester units in child welfare, or two years' experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting. Communication/Language: Must demonstrate skills in communicating and positively relating to students, fellow employees, interns, contractors, and business contacts. Must possess advanced ability to read, write and understand English equivalent to a college level. Computer Skills: Must have strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. Specific skills in software systems as required by position, such as KaleidaCare.Awareness and sensitivity to the cultures represented in San Joaquin County.Reliable transportation, valid California Driver License, proof of insurance, a DMV driving record printout with no more than two (2) minor violations, and use own car for travel.Ability to lift supplies up to 25 lbs. to waist height.Fingerprint clearance required.Must pass a physical examination to demonstrate physical, mental and occupational competence to perform assigned tasks under guidance, supervision and direction of the supervisory staff. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be a person who exercises good judgment and is emotionally mature, patient, flexible and calm with good communication skills.
