Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking two PACKAGING SUPERVISORS in the
Fresno, CA area. One position is on 1st shift and one is on 2nd
shift.This job will have the following responsibilities:Responsible
for the supervision, coaching and leading of 8-10 packaging
lines.Work side by side with Human Resources for hiring, retention
and discipline of employeesResponsible for leading and teaching
Continuous Improvement activities to improve manufacturing
processes and reduce waste.Encourage a continuous improvement
environment by promoting new ideas and institutionalize 5S and
other Continuous Improvement Tools.Requirements/Skills:Bachelor's
Degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu
of a degreeBilingual Spanish skills are a plus.High Speed Packaging
Experience is requiredFDA or USDA Experience is a plus3-5 years of
supervision experience in manufacturingSome formal Continuous
Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience is requiredExcellent
