As a Maintenance Technician - Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, focusing troubleshooting and maintaining industrial and commercial equipment through the plant. Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based control systems. Maintain all PLC and software. Integrate existing and new equipment, as needed. Identify, maintain, and troubleshoot Motor Controls, including motor starters, VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives) and standard electrical components. Troubleshoot industrial electrical. Communicate technical issues to facilities and operations management. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required. Must comprehend and ensure compliance of NEC code, OSHA, and EPA regulations. (50%)Assist maintenance needs of the plant as needed. (40%)Train and educate fellow peers on PLC Controls and Robotic Programming and any additional skills deemed necessary to improve the department. (10%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
      • Associates in technology related field is preferred
      • Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) is required
        • 7-10 years Working in Industrial or commercial environments.
          • Tools: Own tools must be provided.
          • Electrical: 12-480V electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. Including servos, VFD's.
          • Writing: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
          • Speaking: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization
          • Technology: Knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
          • Self-Management: Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely mannerTRAVEL This job requires 5% domestic travel.WORK STATUS & LOCATIONThis full-time, non-exempt position is located in Stockton, CARELOCATIONRelocation is not available for this position.PAY$17.75 / hourIn keeping with the Company's commitment to the communities in which it does business, we are an equal opportunity employer.
