Pride Staff is seeking an experienced Motor Control and PLC Technician for a Manufacturing Company in Tracy, CA!We are looking for candidates that are experienced, hard-working, and that have go-getter attitudes!Responsibilities may include the following: Testing and measurement of AC/DC utilities Testing and measurements with multi-meters and OME meters Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools to determine root cause Perform necessary maintenance tasks including but not limited to the repair or replacement of defective and damaged parts, adjustments, and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test, and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment Qualifications include the following: At least 5 years of controls experience in manufacturing programming, ladder logic, motor controls At least 2 years of PLC troubleshooting Installation and programming of variable frequency drives including Allen Bradley, Siemens and Schneider, Lust Controls High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Technical or vocation school certification desired Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles Manufacturing/Industrial environment experience desired Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.Physical Requirements Include the Following: Lifting at least 65+ lbs, extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment Able to perform job tasks in a dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - ear plugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses Schedule: TBDPay Range: $21/HR to $30/HR+ Depending On Experience Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
