Job Description:
Vivalon, known for enhancing the independence and well-being of
older adults in Marin County, is seeking a dedicated Healthy Aging
Programs Manager to lead and expand our thriving suite of services
designed for the elderly. This role demands a compassionate and
dynamic leader capable of driving program success while aligning
with our mission of supporting senior citizens through innovative
and supportive services. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for overseeing existing programs and developing new initiatives
aimed at promoting physical, mental, and social health among the
elderly. Oversee the daily operations of aging programs, ensuring
they are effectively meeting the needs of participants. Develop,
implement, and evaluate programs designed to support older adults
in maintaining and improving their quality of life. Collaborate
with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program
offerings and reach. Manage program budgets, including grant
writing and fundraising efforts to secure necessary funding.
Supervise and train program staff and volunteers, fostering an
environment of teamwork and continuous improvement. Conduct regular
reviews and adjust programs as needed to ensure efficacy and
sustainability. Engage with program participants and the community
to gather feedback and incorporate insights into program
enhancements. Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in program development and management Proficiency in
budget management and grant writing Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with various
stakeholders and community groups Knowledge of health and wellness
related to aging Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Aging in Place Specialist
(CAPS) preferred Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification is a plus
